Built by a shop owner

I tried to buy one first. I couldn't, so I built it.

I've run Cooper Lake Automotive in Smyrna for 30 years. I went looking for an AI receptionist and couldn't find one that actually understood a repair shop, so I built Brooke for my own shop first. Now she runs my phones every day, and a few other shops too.

A quick note on naming. At my shop she answers the phone as "Brooke." Yours can be anyone. A different name, a female voice or a male one, however it fits your shop. You decide during setup. We'll just call her "Brooke" throughout this site because that's what mine sounds like.

Welcome back, Bill. How can I help you today?
0:07
Caller
Yeah, can I make an appointment, please, to get my oil changed on my Sienna?
0:13
Brooke
Sure, I can help with that. For your 2024 Sienna, what day were you hoping to bring it in?
0:18
Caller
Can I bring it in on Friday at 9 o'clock in the morning and wait on it?
0:28
Brooke
Looks like the 9 AM waiter slot on Friday is already taken, but I can get you in at either 8 AM or 10 AM as a wait appointment. Which one works better for you?
0:36
Caller
I'll take 10 AM, please.

Brooke
You're booked for an oil change on Friday, June fifth at 10 AM. Anything else I can help you with today?

A car overheating on the road1:31

Brooke
Welcome back, Bill. How can I help you today?
0:07
Caller
Yeah, my car's overheating, um, so I need to bring it in to get fixed.
0:13
Brooke
Please get the car safely off the road as soon as you can. Into a parking lot, driveway, or shoulder where it's safe. And go ahead and shut the engine off. When an engine is overheating, it can go from a cooling system repair to a full engine replacement very quickly, so please don't try to keep driving it. If you need a tow, you can call Howard's Wrecker Service at 770-432-2613. You'll need to call them yourself, and the tow is at your own cost. The shop doesn't arrange towing. Since you're already a customer, I can get you on the schedule for a drop-off so the team can look at it once it arrives. Would you like me to set up the earliest drop-off appointment for you?
0:56
Caller
Yeah, could you please?
0:59
Brooke
Sure. Which vehicle is overheating?
1:02
Caller
A Toyota Sienna.

Brooke
You're booked for a cooling system inspection tomorrow, Tuesday, June second at 8 AM. Since it's a drop-off, the team will have it ready later in the day. Stay safe getting it towed in. And if anything changes, just let us know.

I'm sorry, there's no one to transfer you to right now since we're after hours. I can take a quick message and have someone call you back first thing tomorrow. What would you like?
0:18
Caller
Sure. Can you take a message and tell them I need to get a price on brakes for my Toyota Sienna?

Got it. We're closed right now, so someone will reach out first thing once we're back in. Thanks for calling Cooper Lake Automotive. Have a great day.

What makes us different

Not a generic call center.

Tailored to your shop, not a call center.

Every Brooke is built for one specific shop. Yours. Your hours, your pricing, your staff, your rules. You choose exactly what Brooke is allowed to do and what she has to hand off to your team.

Books directly into your shop management system.

When Brooke books an appointment, it lands on your real calendar. Not a side Google sheet. Not "we'll sync it later." Not double-entry. Your advisor opens the system in the morning and sees the appointments Brooke booked overnight.

See what's happening on your phones, in one place.

Your shop's dashboard is built for the owner, not for IT. Revenue captured at your average ticket, calls answered, what people called about, what got booked, who's been blocked. Open it in the morning and know in 60 seconds what Brooke did overnight.

One tool, not five.

Most shops pay for an answering service, a reputation tool for review replies, and still hand-type their online bookings into the system every morning. Sparviko does all of it in one place. Keep the booking widget you already have. Brooke reads what comes in and enters it for you. One bill, one login, one place to look.

On the phone

What Brooke handles

It's 5:45 PM and your service advisor is helping the customer at the counter.

The phone rings. Brooke picks up, knows you close in 15 minutes, books the caller for first thing tomorrow.

It's 8:30 Monday and every line is lit up.

Brooke takes the fourth and fifth call so they don't roll to voicemail. She books what she can, takes messages for the rest, transfers urgent ones to your advisor.

A customer leaves a 5-star Google review thanking you for being honest.

Brooke writes a reply that sounds like you wrote it, posts it under your shop's name, and emails you a copy. One- and two-star reviews always come straight to you. She never auto-replies to those.

A caller says her car is overheating on the side of the road.

Brooke tells her to pull over safely and park before anything else. Then she takes the rest of the call once the caller is in a safe spot. Safety first, then service.

Real-time lookup

Brooke knows your customers

When a returning customer calls, Brooke reads from your live shop database in real time. She welcomes them back. She knows the cars they own. She can answer their questions on the spot.

A caller asks "when was my last oil change?" Brooke can tell them. "What did you guys do on my car back in March?" Brooke knows. She's not making it up. She's reading from your system the same way your advisor would.

Because she already knows the caller and sees your live schedule the moment she picks up, she can often get someone booked faster than they would get it done waiting on hold for an advisor. At our shop, some regulars have started calling Brooke on purpose. It's just quicker.

We don't store your customer data on Sparviko's servers. Brooke reads from your shop's system and writes back to your shop's system, on every call. Your records stay yours.
From a shop running Brooke today

In their words

"My advisor got his counter time back."

My service writer was juggling the phone and the customer at the counter at the same time. He couldn't do either one right. Now he sells the work, Brooke handles the calls, and the customer in front of him gets his full attention. Last Friday she booked four appointments overnight that I would have lost to voicemail.

Integrations

What we connect to

Sparviko reads from and writes to your shop management system through its API. We're working with each major vendor to formalize those integrations as supported products, one at a time. Tell us what you run and we'll tell you what's available today and what's in progress.
